Gill Abraham

Gill came to the NT in 1976 and spent many years living and working at Yirrkala as an Early Childhood teacher before taking on various other roles including Early Childhood Advisor.

Since retiring ten years ago she has assisted digitise high quality images of education in the NT, and in particular photos, slides, and negatives taken in Indigenous schools and documents created by educators across the Territory.

This is now a weekly commitment which returns images to donors and contributes to the Library's Northern Territory collection.
